I am an Argentinian born, Brooklyn, NY based Latin Grammy Award-nominee and leading artist of one of the most important and talented bands in the Latin Rock music scene in the world, “Banda de Turistas“.

I’m an accomplished drummer, producer, composer, songwriter & solo artist who have collaborated with other major musical superstars in the music industry, performing at top venues and at renowned music festivals throughout the US, Europe and Latin America. Additionally my music has been featured in major media such as Rolling Stone Magazine and Vice.

With my band I performed in more than 700 live shows, sharing stage with renowned international musicians such as Coldplay, Jarvis Cocker, Radiohead, Depeche Mode and many others. I composed, produced and recorded 5 studio albums, working with distinguished producers such as Mario Caldato Jr. (Beastie Boys, Jack Johnson) and Peter Mew (Pink Floyd, The Beatles).

Since my arrival in 2019 till today prestigious artists in NYC like, Tall Juan, Juan Wauters, The – Durites, Mary Vision, Breanna Barbara, Adira, Adam & Alana Amram, Air Waves, Lulu Lewis, among others, invited me to participated in many live shows and recording sessions increasing the relation between the music and the city. I played in many legendary local venues such as Bowery Ballroom, Le Passion Rouge, The Sultan Room, The Broadway, Berlin & T.V. Eye. I’m currently been part of Juan Wauters band with almost 70 shows performed to date so far in the 2022 -24 World Tour.

In 2020 I create a mental creation a.k.a alter-ego call – [Magic Sandwich] – My desire to express myself led me to come across this idea of materializing an artistic fantasy such as Magic Sandwich. It is difficult to separate the figure of the artist and the person, which is why I decided that Magic Sandwich is the one who will be in charge of getting on stage and Guido Colzani will be able to enjoy it as a spectator. Magic Sandwich proposes a universe where humor, technology and fantasy are the main drivers of the performance.

Magic Sandwich performed during 2020 & 2021 in the US, North & South America. Future plans like new record, videos, and shows are in progress to see the light in 2023 & 24.

SOUND DESIGNER

My passion for music led me into the world of sound design, where I engage with recording and composition for the evolving auditory landscapes of animations, films, and TV shows.

I have worked with brands such as Hulu [ Gold winner for brand identity. 2023 Promax Awards ] [ Craft-Best Use of Animation. Webby Awards. 2023 ] Hermes, L’Officiel, and Andes Beer, as well as renowned animators like Moi Yama from Japan and Dante Zaballa from Argentina. Additionally, I am currently collaborating with several agencies in the production department for sound design in advertising and film.”

After years of collaboration with the renowned illustrator Pepita Sandwich, we created a musical album based on her book *Las Mujeres Mueven Montañas*, published by Random House in Argentina and Spain. Additionally, we collaborated on Pepita’s short films, including *Hola Tesoro* (selected for the BitBang Animation Festival 2023), *Internal Monologue* (selected for the Sweat Eye Ball Animation Festival 2021), and *Daydreamer*.

In 2018 I developed “Pijama Party” podcast & “Casi Brujas” podcast production; Pijama Party was selected by Spreaker.com as best international podcast.

I was part of the sound design team for Santiago Charriere’s documentary film *Poner al Rock de Moda*, which won the audience prize at the Argentine BAFICI film festival. The movie was screened in Argentina, Mexico and England. Years later, I designed the sound for Charriere’s short film *La Ciudad de Jobino*, which was screened at many festivals in Italy, England, and Argentina.”
